Claudio Silvestrin with IL CASONE

He perfected his skills in Milan with A.G. Fronzoni and in London at the Architectural Association. In 1989, he founded Claudio Silvestrin Architects in London and in 2006 also opened new head offices in Milan. His activity includes the development of property complexes, residences, resorts and private homes, museums and art galleries, residential and commercial interiors, as well as the design of elements furnishing.
His clients especially include Giorgio Armani, Illycaffé, Anish Kapoor, Calvin Klein, Poltrona Frau, Victoria Miro, the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation and the famous rap artist Kanye West.
He recently completed the development of the private Victoria Miro gallery in London and is currently building a new resort in Cearà State, Brazil, which includes a hotel, a spa and villas.
He is also involved in the development of two villas in Singapore, a wellness centre in South Korea and a hotel resort in St Tropez.
He received the Gold Medal for Italian Architecture 2003 at the Milan Triennial for the head offices of the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation in Turin; the Artib Award, the Contract World Award and International Stone Architecture Award for the international image of Giorgio Armani boutiques; the Wallpaper Magazine Design Awards for the Terra kitchen and the Travel+Leisure Magazine Design Awards for the Princi Bakery in Via XXV Aprile, Milan.
