Marco Piva with LASA MARMO

Marco Piva took his degree at Milan Polytechnic University and is a founder member of Studiodada Associati., one of the best-known in the Radical Design period. He works in Italy and abroad for architecture projects, interior and industrial design.
Between 1987 and 1990, he was a member of the Presidential Board of ADI, the Industrial Design Association.
In 1987, he founded IDA, the International Design Agency, the Italian interface for a World Design Network system.
Between 1988 and 1991, he was the Italian commissioner at the European Union for the Sprint Project for innovation and transfer of technologies. He joined German, French and British designers, sociologists and marketing experts to set up EDEA (European Design Expert Association), a strategic consulting company for Design. Between 1997 and 2002, he coordinated Hot Group (Hotel Technologies Group), a multi-media group of companies specialising in technologies for Hotels and Contracts. Since 1999, he has coordinated Master degree courses at Milan Polytechnic University, the Polytechnica Design School and the European Institute of Design in Milan. In 2001, he was a consultant for the contract sector for Federlegno Arredo.
In 2007, he was the scientific curator of the Italian Contract Design Industry, a project by Federlegno Arredo.
In the same year, he set up Atelier Design for study, research and development in industrial design.
