Massimo Iosa Ghini with BUDRI

Massimo Iosa studied architecture in Florence and took his degree at Milan Polytechnic University. Since 1985, he has been involved in avante-garde movements in Italian design within the Bolidismo group, of which he was a founder, and Memphis. In the same period, he opened the Iosa Ghini Associati Studio with a focus on architecture and design.
Within the scope of design, he develops collections of objects and consults as art director for the most important specialist Italian and international companies, while in the field of architecture he focuses especially on cultural and commercial installations and chains of shops implemented all over the world.
He holds conferences and lectures at various Universities, such as Milan Polytechnic University, Domus Academy, La Sapienza University in Rome, the Elisava School in Barcelona, the Design Fachhochschule in Cologne and Hochschule fur Angewandte Kunst in Vienna. He represents Italian design at many international symposia. His works are owned by various international museums and private collections. His projects received the Good Design Award 2001 and 2004 from the Chicago Atheneum and the Red Dot Award in 2003.
