Aldo Cibic with QUARELLA

Born in Vicenza, he moved to Milan in 1978 to work with Ettore Sottsass and later became his partner; in the same year, he was involved in the creation of Memphis, as designer and founder.
In 1989, he founded Cibic & Partners, focusing on design, interior design and architecture. He also carries out research into design alternative methods in design and architecture fields, through his own studio and in academic spheres, with Domus Academy, Milan Polytechnic University, IUAV University in Venice and Tongji University in Shanghai, where he is Honorary Professor.
He has consulted, among others, for the following companies: Antonangeli, Cappellini, Artemide, Foscarini, Paola C.
He designs set-ups for the Venice Architecture Biennial, the Shanghai Biennial, the London Architecture Biennial and Abitare il Tempo. He currently works in professional studios in Vicenza and Milan.
