Mario Bellini with MINERANORGE

An architect and designer of international status, born in Milan and winner of as many as 8 Gold Compasses and prestigious Architecture Awards such as the Gold Medal awarded to him by the President of the Republic, he has held conferences in the main cultural centres world-wide and was Director of Domus. His works are also included in the collections of important Art Museums. MoMA New York dedicated a monographic exhibition to him, while its Permanent Design Collection includes 25 of his works.
Bellini has deisnged works such as The Portello centre at the Milan Exhibition Centre, the Villa Erba Exhibition Centre at Cernobbio (Como), the Tokyo Design Center in Japan, Natuzzi America H.Q. in the USA, Essen Exhibition Centre in Germany and the Victoria National Gallery in Melbourne. Current projects include the Museum of Islamic Arts at the Louvre, the Deutsche Bank H.Q. in Frankfurt and and the Cultural Centre in Turin.
Over his long career, he has worked with Artemide, B&B, Brionvega, Cassina, Erco, Flou, Ideal Standard, Heller, Meritalia, Olivetti, Yamaha, Renault, Rosenthal and Vitra.
