Ideas, works and prospects for stone projects

The Marble Forum is configured physically and ideally as the place at Marmomacc dedicated to exhibiting, discussing and analysing theoretical content, architectural-landscape works and installations, as well as educational experiences linked with the world of stone.
Growing interest in this topic in recent years has involved important disciplinary areas ranging from architecture to landscape and design, that involve knowledge and different subjects in new synergies.
The 45th Marmomacc will welcome a detailed series of scientific and cultural activities characteristic of the Verona exhibition brought together in a dedicated space in Hall 7B where the “Marble Forum” event will host shows, conventions, conferences, university lectures, seminars and meetings.
The heart of the architecture and design show areas will be home to a space for conventions organised with a non-stop programme involving architects and designers, professors of various branches of stone technology and research from several universities, technicians and experts in digital design, geologists and environmentalists, and research groups at Faculties of Architecture, Engineering and Design.
Over the four days of Marmomacc (29 September-2 October), the Marble Forum will therefore be a meeting place for different knowledge bases and disciplines open not only to architects, engineers, designers, students and technicians but also to operators, producers and visitors interest in such analysis of stone-related themes.
It will especially be the occasion for the university world and young architects for meetings and knowledge, exchange of experiences, research and new design approaches during an exhibition event that offers the best of stone materials and research into their processing and application.
