The Chiampo Marble Consortium, on the occasion of celebrations for the 500th anniversari of the birth of Andrea Palladio, has organised an exhibition of designer objects in stone dedicated to and inspired by the great architect.
Thanks to detailed and original research, coordinated by designer Raffaello Galiotto, and the vital contribution of the Andrea Palladio International Architecture Study Centre (Cisa), it has been possible to identity and examine Palladian references in “minor architecture” that can equally be traced to the concept of design.
Objects in marble, stone and granite by companies belonging the Consortium range from bathroom furnishing to cladding, from vases to street furnishing and are the outcome of the application of the most sophisticated technology and impressive professionalism of natural stone companies in Valle del Chiampo.
