StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas is North America’s most important trade show for the stone sector. The U.S., even during the present global economic downturn, remains one of the most important markets for stone and stone-working machinery companies from around the world.
Since its inception in 1987, StonExpo has preserved its focus on stone, and particularly on machinery and technologies for stone processing. In 2008, Veronafiere and Hanley Wood Exhibitions, owner and organizer of StonExpo, finalized a partnership that led to the rebranding of the show as StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas.
Starting in January 2011, StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas will co-locate with Surfaces, the most important event for the North American flooring industry. Both exhibitions will be held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, from January 25th-27th, with the conference program beginning on the 24th.
StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas is an international show, with nearly 180 companies and 4,000 attendees from across the world. The 2011 edition will feature an even greater international presence with pavilions from Italy, Turkey and China; live, hands-on demonstrations in the Stone LIVE! area; a redesigned StonExchange symposium stage; and the StonExpo and SURFACES New Product Showcase, featuring the latest products available to the stone and flooring industries.
StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas attracts fabricators, installers, architects, designers, builders, kitchen & bath specialists, retailers, distributors, landscape architects, restoration professionals, general contractors, quarriers and more, ready to do business. In addition, over 54% of attendees are owners or executives and have the power to influence purchasing decisions in their companies.
The 2011 Conference Program will offer over 70 sessions in multiple targeted tracks, including one combined educational extension area on the show floor with complimentary sessions (Stone LIVE! and StonExchange). Attendees can earn NKBA, AIBD, IICRC, AIA/CES LUs and ASID industry designation.
In its ongoing efforts to offer Marmomacc exhibitors new business opportunities, Veronafiere organizes a collective exhibitor presence at StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas under the Marmomacc name. Veronafiere will also organize, in conjunction with Hanley Wood Exhibitions, “Designing With Natural Stone,” a day of continuing education for building design professionals (architects, specifiers, interior designers, etc.).
