Agsm Energia and Marmomacc together to promote the use of renewable energy
Veronese energy company Agsm Energia offers all exhibiting companies and visitors attending the show the chance to take up its renewable energy plan

Partnership between Agsm Energia and VeronaFiere is further expanded at Marmomacc, following the success seen with Fieracavalli-Children's Exhibition and SolarExpo.
The four days of the event (next 30 September-3 October) will see the Agsm Energia stand present the AGSM Renewable Energy offering, as well as information about investment projects in plant powered by renewable sources and power efficiency promoted by the Agsm Group.
The Veronese company offers companies certified and guaranteed electricity generated by its own plant powered by renewable sources, as well as the possibility of also purchasing electricity from traditional sources, with proposals dedicated to the business world.
Companies joining the AGSM Renewable Energy plan have the opportunity to qualify and differentiate their image positively with clients and end users but also to play an effective part in eco-compatible development.
Companies purchasing AGSM Renewable Energy have the right and authorisation to use the brand guaranteeing the origin of energy consumed, thanks to two very strict international certifications: “Recs” (Renewable energy certificate system) and “100% green energy”. The brand may be used on products, in promotional and advertising communication and in the sales points of participating companies.
Experts on the Agsm Energia stand will prepare “made-to-measure” offers for interested companies: proposals focusing on the ethical and cultural values of helping to protect the environment but also interesting for economic operators from a commercial point of view.
Three hundred and thirty five companies in Italy have already taken up these opportunities, with overall consumption of more than 10 million kWh in 2008.
The Agsm Group continues its policy of major investments in plant powered by renewable sources. The Casoni di Romagna wind power plant became operative in early this year. It is the largest in northern Italy, with 16 wind-generators producing power of almost 13 Megawatts - while new plant at Rivoli Veronese is awaiting authorisation together with the wind power plant at Monte dei Cucchi near Bologna. The Veronese company is also investing in photovoltaic sectors – with the development of roofing of the Bentegodi stadium in Verona, the most important Italian project of its kind - and hydro-electricity, an area where the company has been historically very active: overall in 2008, more than 10% of the energy generated by Agsm originated from renewable sources.
